Today you’ll hear the conversation between myself and Jake, who I love to have 3 hour sushi dinners with. His yoga classes have gotten me into some crazy arm balances I never thought I could do along with relaxing into a state of fulfillment few other teachers can get me to on the mat.

About Jake:

Based in LA, Jake Ferree is a world traveling yoga instructor, curator of Xbox’s YO:30 program and an online yoga platform called Vinyasa VAULT.  He has been in the fitness, yoga and healing industry for almost 20 years now and still loves that he feels like he has only just begun.

In this episode, Jake shares:

  • How we often use punishment to motivate ourselves, and how doing this within our relationships can be detrimental.
  • The power of eye gazing, and some ways to tip-toe into the practice for singles or partnered folks to re-connect after misunderstandings.
  • Pleasure and how returning to our childhood silly and playful spirit is one way to move beyond the seriousness or our own issues, and reminds us how fun things can be
